Polk County School Board - Traviss Career Center: Culinary Arts Building

In January 2008,Traviss Career Center opened its new Commercial Foods and Culinary Arts Program.

Aside from the classroom, the "centerpiece" in the Culinary Arts Program is the new state of the art commercial kitchen built by Folsom Construction, Inc. that exposes the students to types of equipment they will be required to use in restaurants and the food service industry.

Also featured in the kitchen is the traditional waiter/waitress station, a bakery, and a salad station.  It is well equipped with storage, dish, and serving space.
